Frequently asked
Questions, answered.
The App
What is the Green Dragon Tavern app?
It's an immersive "Spy Game" for your phone. You step into the historic Green Dragon Tavern and chat — by voice or text — with animated personas of the Sons of Liberty. As you talk, clues are woven into their replies for you to gather.
Who is it for?
Anyone curious about the American Revolution — families, students, teachers, history lovers, and visitors to Liberty Village. No background needed; just bring a question.
How does the conversation work?
Choose a Son of Liberty, then ask your question aloud or type it. The patriot answers in his own voice and in a text bubble at the same time, lip-synced to his face.
Is this real history?
Each persona is shaped by the historical record, but the replies are AI-generated and conversational. Treat them as a lively starting point for learning — not as authoritative history or direct quotation.
Which platforms is the app on?
iPhone and Android. Store links will appear on this page as soon as the app is live.
